Driven by two core passions:
(a) uncovering the building blocks of intelligence, including the neural and computational mechanisms supporting rapid learning, abstraction, generalization, cognitive flexibility, and contextual or learning-dependent effects on perception.
(b) translating these principles into neurotechnologies and brain–computer interfaces that can meaningfully impact human health and cognition.
Skilled in experiments and data analysis of multi-channel electrophysiology (acute recordings) in non-human primates, intracranial recordings (ECoG) in humans, neuroimaging (fMRI) in macaque monkeys
